The Disappearance of Lisa Schmidt

23 year old Lisa Schmidt was last seen in Harrison, New Jersey on October 2, 1994. She disappeared after leaving home to go shopping that afternoon.

Disappearance

At approximately 2:00 pm on October 2, 1994, Lisa Schmidt was last seen leaving her home on North Second Street in Harrison, New Jersey. She left to go shopping, but never returned.

She left her 3 year old son in the care of her mother, and left with only a small change purse.

Lisa planned to walk to Kearney’s K-Mart on Passaic Avenue to pay off her layaway, but surveillance video shows she never arrived.

$600 was left behind in her dresser, and she did not take any clothing or jewelry with her. No clues as to her whereabouts have ever been found.

Appearance

White female with brown hair and brown eyes. Lisa stands 5’7-5’9 tall and weighs 110-120 pounds. She had auburn highlights in her hair and both of her ears are pierced.

Lisa has a slight dental overbite, a possible concave sternum, and a possible history of a broken leg.

Clothing & Accessories:
Lisa was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and black suede boots with fringe. She was wearing a yellow gold crucifix on a gold chain necklace and several rings including a silver happy face ring.
